I’ve been working with musicians Iain McKinna and Kirsty Macmillan to help them promote their already very successful recording experience business in Edinburgh. Iain and Kirsty have run a recording studio on the Royal Mile for over 20 years, and the last few years have seen the development of the recording experience side of the business. With the studio located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, they are well placed to welcome visitors to the city and have been marketing the experiences to hen and stag parties, as well as budding singers and groups.

The objective is to increase exposure of the studio and recording experiences and to increase sales of experiences to people visiting from outside Edinburgh. The aim is to run Facebook advertising campaigns to target those who are searching for hen and stag party activities in the capital.

Following some work on the Facebook fan page, both in terms of layout, content and community building, we have seen an increase in exposure among local customers, and the number of enquiries for experiences has increased.

Work is currently being undertaken to improve conversion rates on their website.

We hope to see increased awareness and sales for Iain and Kirsty as a result of the increased marketing effort through Facebook and on their website. I’ll keep you posted!
